Return Policy


At Makhana Bite, we take great care in delivering fresh, high-quality flavored makhana snacks. Your satisfaction is important to us. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which returns, replacements, or refunds may be accepted.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Since our products are food items, we can accept returns only under specific conditions:

You are eligible for a return or replacement if:

  • You received a damaged product
  • The product was defective, expired, or spoiled
  • You received the wrong product/flavor
  • There is a missing item in your order
  • The product packaging is tampered at the time of delivery

To qualify:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  • The product must be unused and unopened
  • You must provide clear photos/videos of the issue along with your order details

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or partially consumed items
  • Products damaged due to customer mishandling
  • Orders placed by mistake
  • Change of taste or personal preference
  • Items reported after 48 hours of delivery

2. Return Process

If your case qualifies:

  1. Contact us via email or phone within 48 hours
  2. Share your order ID, issue details, and supporting images/videos
  3. Our team will review the request within 1–2 business days
  4. If approved, we will arrange:
    1. A pickup for the return (where applicable), or
    2. A replacement shipment, or
    3. A refund as per your case

Note: Some pin codes may not support reverse pickup. In that case, we may ask you to ship the item back and reimburse shipping charges if the claim is valid.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are issued in the following cases:

  • Item damaged in transit
  • Wrong item delivered
  • Missing items
  • Valid quality complaints

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment gateway.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Minor taste differences
  • Delays caused by courier partners
  • Buyer's remorse or incorrect address
  • Unapproved return requests

4. Replacement Policy

In most valid cases, we prefer sending a replacement product rather than a refund.

Replacements apply to:

  • Damaged packets
  • Wrong flavor/variant
  • Spoiled products

Replacement shipping is free for approved claims.

5. Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it is shipped.

Once the order is dispatched:

  • Cancellation is not allowed
  • Refund is only possible if the product qualifies under the conditions listed above
